  Choose the Right Material

  Standard Carbon
  This tool steel provides an excellent ridged edge and wear resistance. It’s the benchmark for quality and the most economically friendly material used with paper cutting knives.
  High Carbon, High Chrome
  Used primarily for lower knives and three knife trimmers, this material offers a greater wear resistance than the standard carbon material.
  
  Inlaid High Speed Steel
  Designed from a two piece manufacturing method, the HSS is laid into the softer steel knife body. The inlaid contains 18% tungsten which gives the knife outstanding edge retention and wear resistance. This material is designed to be used to heavy production applications.
  Inlaid Carbide
  Carbide is one of the strongest materials on the parodic table. These knives will stay sharp longer than any other blade between sharpening’s. Designed from the two piece manufacturing method and used in heavy production applications. Carbide knives are a great option when changing knives between sharpening becomes to frequent or cumbersome.
